As of early 2015, the Collegefeed network had 1000+ hiring managers, founders and recruiters looking to hire college talent.

Value For Employers: Employers just specify their talent needs and their “minimum bar” and Collegefeed starts sending them the most relevant, high quality, curated candidates to connect with.

Collegefeed’s breakthrough USP of connecting job seekers directly with employers was an innovative idea. But, like any other start up, there were challenges to getting the product built and market ready:  limited budget, technical resources, the need to build quick proof-of-concepts (POCs) to test several ideas, ever changing business requirements, and the desire to stay away from heavy upfront investments.

Collegefeed was built on PHP using the Symfony framework – a highly scalable and a flexible architecture that could plugin new features quickly, thereby enabling rapid turn around time.

Being agile was key – weekly planning with the product owners and daily sync with the team helped everyone stay abreast of the priorities. This also enabled the team to deliver features under tight deadlines with very high quality using manual and automated testing built with Apache jMeter, Selenium and Behat. . Like every startup, Collegefeed went through 2 pivots and on both occasions IINCORE was able revamp the entire product within 3 weeks. IINCORE was also able to scale the resources very quickly – both add and take away developers as needed on short notice.
